​ Northern Cyprus appears as a hidden gem of a holiday paradise, where time has stood still for decades.
The apartment has panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. Sunrise for breakfast and a wonderful sunset that colors the sky pink in the summer semester. The apartment is on the 2nd floor on the Sun valley Sea side.
Our penthouse apartment is 95 square and has 2 bedrooms with double beds.
1 large bathroom, with washer and dryer.
Kitchen is well equipped with cups and tubs. We also have a steam oven, stove, microwave, induction hob and large refrigerator with freezer.
The living room and master bedroom have TV.
There is waterborne heat in the floors and high quality air conditioning in all rooms.
The 20 square meter balcony is furnished and has a beautiful view of the sea, the beach and the sunset.
Our roof terrace of 85 square meters is something in itself, it just has to be experienced.

The text in () is under construction and most will be completed in the summer of 2022. We will have to wait a little longer for a restaurant and saltwater pool.

2 communal pools, 1 salt water and 1 is chlorine.
The resort is located directly on the beach, which also offers water activities. Here there is also an amphitheater that arranges weddings, markets for the locals, etc. It is also possible to get married in the chapel located by the beach. Of course we also have a spa and fitness center.)

There is a restaurant on site and very many in the surrounding area.
There is a bus 8 times a day to the nearest town Kyrenia / Girne. Shuttle bus to "next door" which is an 18 hole golf course.
We are happy to help with transport to and from the Airport, and car rental if desired.
It is very cheap to live in Northern Cyprus.
Examples: 1 beer = DKK 7-25. (Shop to restaurant)
1 full bottle of red or white wine = NOK 20-50 at the store.
1 completely fake Prosecco = 25-35 kr
1 glass of wine = NOK 10-15 at a restaurant.
Lunch = 20-50 kr. Lots of food!
Dinner = 40-120 kr. Large portion and enormously good food of all kinds.
Ice cream for children = 5-7 Kr.
Soda / water = NOK 5-10 per box / bottle
Vegetables on the market = enormously cheap and best quality.

Taxi from Kyrenia city to the apartment = 80-100 NOK
Bus from / to Kyrenia = approx. NOK 15 per person
Rental car = NOK 150-250 per day for 5 seats good car with automatic transmission.
Cyprus can point to a long and rich history, making the island a resort with a great density of ancient historical sights. In addition to its own completely Cypriot characteristics, present-day Cyprus has cultural influences from Greece, Turkey and England. In Northern Cyprus, mostly Turkish lira (TL) is used as a means of payment. Some also accept the British pound (GBP) and the euro. It is a very favorable currency for Norwegians, at the same time as the price level is lower on the north side compared to the south side, where the euro is used. Credit cards are accepted as a means of payment everywhere, and there is a large density of ATMs for withdrawing cash.
In the northern part of Cyprus, Turkish is spoken. But the majority of the local population is and considers themselves Cypriot. Therefore, one does not find the ongoing behavior in shops and restaurants many have experienced in Turkey.
Northern Cyprus has a wide range of sights for those interested in culture. You can visit old churches, the ruins of 3 knights' castles up in the mountains. Bellapais Monastery, Salami's ancient ruined city and the fortress of Kyrenia located in the oldest and most picturesque port of the Mediterranean to name a few.
For nature lovers we can tempt with Karpaz National Park with 250 wild donkeys, Alagadi Turtle Beach where turtles hatch and one can participate in the launching of these every summer. At Karpaz National Park there is a unique biological diversity with many places' own and protected species of flowers, birds and amphibians.
Cyprus has a perfect climate with around 320 days of uninterrupted sunshine and crystal clear water. For the ninth year in a row, bathing water in 2015 is ranked highest on the EU's annual overview of bathing water quality in Europe.
In Northern Cyprus, one also finds a charming picturesque style and a beauty one finds only in pristine landscapes and on pristine beaches. The cities of Kyrenia (Girne), Nicosia (Lefkosa) and Famagusta (Gazimagusa) can still offer varied shopping opportunities and a large selection of great restaurants, hotels and nightclubs.
Most of Northern Cyprus is within a 1-1.5 hour drive away. In addition, it has access to all that the beautiful south side of the island has to offer.
